Outside Events
Recordings
We welcome the opportunity to record choirs and Christmas Carol Services for our audience.
Past recordings have included choirs at churches and schools in Bedlington and Morpeth and at Wallington, near Cambo.
Public Address Service
Although NHR does not currently own a caravan, which provides a safe, dry, secure base to operate a mobile studio from, the Charity can still offer public address service to organisers of outside events.
Please note a fee is charged for providing this service, which is still very modest given the value of equipment used and the experience and expertise of the volunteers to operate it.

How to Listen
If you are an in-patient at any Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Hospital, you can listen to NHR – free of charge – on the bedside entertainment system, provided by Spark TSL.
If you are waiting for an appointment, or you are a Member of Staff, you can tune in on your own device using the Listen Now button.

Event mentions
NHR provides a “What’s On” service, which is broadcast to the patients and staff. It provides information about local non-profit making, non-political and non-religious events. We particularly welcome information about health and wellbeing services and events from bona fide organisations.

Donations and Sponsorship
NHR is a UK Registered Charity, registered with HMRC for Gift Aid. All donations, whatever the amount, are most welcome and will be properly used to support and develop the Charity’s service. Please donate below – thank you!
Sponsorship enquiries are welcome from health and wellbeing organisations and appropriate UK Companies, subject to approval by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
