Get in touch
If you are the relative of a patient in one of the 8 hospitals NHR serves, perhaps living too far away for regular hospital visiting, why not send us an audio file (mp3 or wav) with a personal voice message which we can then broadcast?
Most smartphones have the facility to record voice messages which can then emailed direct to NHR.
Note that we will check the recipient of the request is still an inpatient before broadcasting the message and may edit the message where necessary.

How to Listen
If you are an in-patient at any Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Hospital, you can listen to NHR – free of charge – on the bedside entertainment system, provided by Spark TSL.
If you are waiting for an appointment, or you are a Member of Staff, you can tune in on your own device using the Listen Now button.

Event mentions
NHR provides a “What’s On” service, which is broadcast to the patients and staff. It provides information about local non-profit making, non-political and non-religious events. We particularly welcome information about health and wellbeing services and events from bona fide organisations.

Donations and Sponsorship
NHR is a UK Registered Charity, registered with HMRC for Gift Aid. All donations, whatever the amount, are most welcome and will be properly used to support and develop the Charity’s service. Please donate below – thank you!
Sponsorship enquiries are welcome from health and wellbeing organisations and appropriate UK Companies, subject to approval by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
